Handyman Soaps – Simple Soaps Building Houses
Thanks to Twitter (and @HandymanSoaps for the tweet) I was able to find another great product I didn’t know about.
Handyman Soaps makes 100% natural (Green on the Whole Foods Eco Scale) hand soap. They got there start in 2004 when Habitat for Humanity of Mt. Pleasant SC opened a ReStore to accept donations of gently used furniture, appliances and building supplies. The goal: sell these donated goods to the public and use the proceeds to build more Habitat homes and support other local missions. The number of Habitat Homes is limited to the revenue they can generate so they wanted to find a way to create more awareness along with creating more revenue. Someone came up with the idea of making hand soaps and the Handyman Soaps brand was born!
After a few years of development the Handyman Soap company launched their line of soap on January 27th, 2014. They currently offer four lines of hand soap including the very manly “Cut Wood” scent, the hard to refine “Honeysuckle”, the always popular “Lavender”, and the wonderfully fresh unscented version.
If you’re looking for a natural hand soap, give Handyman Soaps as try. You’ll not only be getting a great product, but you’ll be supporting a great cause.
